Alan Lacovetsky B.F.A., M.F.A.

Pottery making has been a big part of my life for fifty years, taking me to many parts of the world. Using a foot powered potter’s
wheel and a wood burning kiln demands a direct hands on process. The firings last for thirty-six hours with wood being stoked every five to ten minutes after which it cools for three days before the work can be taken out.
